An intimate wedding venue in Provence

It’s not easy to organise a wedding with less than 40 guests. Indeed, most of the wedding venues ask a minimum of guests, or the rental price compared to the number of guests is too expensive. So today I would like to present you this cosy wedding venue in Provence.

This property is a charming fortified Provencal demure dating back to 17th century and totally refurbished in 2011. Surrounded by vineyards this venue is set in a private park of 3 hectares, where the colours of the olive trees and centuries old oaks blend with the perfumes of lavender and rosemary, creating a small mediterranean paradise in where you will find a heated swimming pool and summer bar, giant chess, tennis and petanque courts.

Situated only 30 minutes from the sea  between Cannes, St Tropez and Hyeres, this wedding venue is the ideal location to visit Provence.

Before or after the wedding you can have a barbecue and enjoy the swimming pool. The owner take in charge the dinner, so he can prepare a personalised wedding dinner according to your tastes and wishes.

Last but not least, you don’t have to worry about the noise, indeed, you can play music late without any problem.

A stunning castle overlooking the Mediterranean sea

My partner Rebecca and I are in the south of France to discover and visit new weddings venues. On Monday, we were taking an “ice cream break” on a beach restaurant (after the visits of 3 wedding venues), when suddenly I saw  a stunning castle on the top of the hill. I wondered whether  we could  organize weddings there, so we decided to meet the owners and ask them. And the answer was: YES, WE CAN !

So today I’m really pleased to share with you this stunning venue in one of my favorite place in the south of France. It’s located at 20 minutes from Marseille and 3 minutes from the beach.

What I really like with this property is its view. Indeed, as you can see on the pictures, this property is on the top of a hill, overlooking the Mediterannean sea.

At the beginning (Roman time), the castle  made with od stones, was  an observation post, since it  became a private property.

This french castle is actually a luxury guests house with 5 bedrooms. If you want to organize your wedding there, you need to privatize the whole property.

This venue can welcome up to 100 person. You can have  your cocktail on the terrace with its wonderfull seaview, and  I’m sure  your guests will be amazed. Then you dinner will take place in the garden or in the reception room then your party until 4am.

The day after or before the wedding you can have several activities:  brunch on the beach, kayak, climbing, jumping and swimming in the sea, to go scuba diving and boat trip.

Discover this venue in our catalogue.
