After one week in Cannes, I have to tell you that we found the place to be : this luxury villa !

There is a reception room overlooking the mediterannean sea with large teak terrace, and also a beautiful terrace on the roof with a wonderful panoramic view over Lerins islands.

You can organize an intimate wedding with 40-50 guests. The aperitive of your wedding on the French Riviera can take place around the swimming pool and your dinner in the garden.

There are also 4 bedrooms to accomodate a part of your guests.

A charming castle between Cannes and St Tropez

In my previous post, I explained to you that my partner and I were in Cannes for the movie festival and we discovered new wedding venues . So today I will describe the second venue we visited.

Ideally located within a thirty-minute from the Bay of Saint-Tropez and Cannes Croisette, this property is one thousand year-old.

Based on seven centuries of vine cultivation, it can be said of this castle that it is one of the most outstanding in Provence.

A row of magnificent old plane trees leads to the park and to a large pool from which the spring water runs towards the giant roots of the surrounding redwoods. In front of the Castle stand two gigantic 18th-century plane trees, as well as an oval pond surrounded by boxwood hedges in the French garden style.

The reception areas can accommodate 30 to 250 people indoors, and up to 1,000 people outdoors.

The cocktail party may be hosted in the romantic 12^th-century cloister and then followed by a dinner in the beautiful Barrel Room, entirely renovated in the spring of 2011 – unless you prefer the bicentennial plane trees lane and the Harvest Room.

Beach wedding in Cannes

My partner Rebecca and I took advantage to be in Cannes for the movie festival to visit new wedding venues. We made a selection of 3 venues and the first one is a restaurant on the beach.

As I receive a lot of request from bridal couples to organize their wedding and their ceremony on the beach, I’ve decided to present this venue.

The spirit of the beach and its decoration is just to enjoy the sea, the sun and the sand ! we’ll begin with a ceremony on the beach and followed by a long and tasteful pre-dinner drinks. We can add furnitures to create a nice and comfortable lounge area.

There is a big terrace which can welcome up to 150 persons and it’s covered in case of bad weather . So you don’t need to rent a marquee for plan B and keep money on your budget for other ideas. The music time limit in the summer is 2:30 am.

The price for the meal starts at 80 euros ( cocktail, dinner, dessert, drinks).
